New Years Gratitude

I like being home with my family.

I like playing "whoo whoo" dominoes.

I like baking cookies.

I like having a cat sleep in her hammock.

I like buying books for my daughter.

I like buying candy for my sons.


I like buying flying monkeys for my daughter-in-law.

I like reading books while wrapped in a blanket.

Still Winter

Cookie always has fun running in the snow before I shovel the walk

Without her daily 3 mile walks, she's bored and so am I... we both wish the sidewalks weren't covered in ice

















although the only path in the backyard is from feeding hay to the horses














No one's been in the hot-tub for a while...













but Mt Emily is back! It's been covered in fog for the past week
